The 2019-2023 Pennsylvania Cancer Control Plan is officially launched!
The plan is a guide for organizations, institutions and agencies working in cancer control to help prevent the disease, promote early detection, treat patients with the most effective therapies, and improve quality of life for patients and their families.
The five-year goals, strategies and measures were developed by the Pennsylvania Cancer Control, Prevention and Research Advisory Board in partnership with the Pennsylvania Cancer Coalition, Data Advisory Committee, the Pennsylvania Comprehensive Cancer Control Program and other stakeholders.
The plan guides statewide efforts to ensure that resources from state, federal and other sources are targeted to make the greatest impact on Pennsylvania’s cancer burden. Read the plan here.
