The Pennsylvania Cancer Control Genetics/Genomics Toolkit was designed to provide healthcare professionals with tools and resources to assist them in effectively integrating hereditary cancer risk assessment into practice.
The toolkit offers practical information on the role of genetics in care, how to increase recognition of genetic risk factors for cancer and the appropriate referral of individuals at risk for hereditary cancer syndromes. Resources to talk with individuals about genetic cancer risks are also included. The toolkit was developed by subject matter experts and members of the Genetics/Genomics workgroup of the Pennsylvania Cancer Coalition (PCC).
