National Comprehensive Cancer Control Program Priorities require evidence-based strategies that will impact cancer prevention, treatment, and survivorship across the cancer continuum.

Health Equity can be achieved when all people are provided with the tools and resources necessary to be as healthy as possible.

A large body of evidence provides well-documented disparities in cancer and other chronic disease. Cancer is the second leading cause of death in Pennsylvania, and the Coalition is well-positioned as a multidisciplinary approach to reduce systemic barriers that have been shown to negatively affect chronic disease health outcomes.

Check back often for resources and information on programs, services, and interventions (including articles, toolkits, and trainings) that integrate and address health equity policy, systems, and environmental strategies to reduce cancer health disparities.
