Mission
The Pennsylvania Cancer Coalition’s (PCC) mission is to engage organizations and key partners in the implementation of the goals of the 2023-2033 Pennsylvania Cancer Control Plan to reduce cancer incidence, morbidity and mortality while improving the quality of all lives touched by cancer.
The PCC is responsible for ensuring the goals of the plan are being implemented, evaluated, and communicated to the citizens of Pennsylvania.
The objective of the 2023-2033 Pennsylvania Cancer Control Plan is to reduce the cancer burden through a collaborative process where partners strategically leverage resources across the cancer care continuum to reduce cancer risk, find cancers earlier, improve treatments, and optimize survivorship.
